People In Need Atlanta (PIN-ATL) is committed to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and other difficult circumstances throughout the Atlanta community.
PIN-ATL absorbed the work of Crossroads Community Center, continuing a legacy of compassionate community service that now spans more than 26 years.
Under the leadership of Greg Griffith and Adele McAuley, People In Need Atlanta continues to expand its outreach, strengthen its programs, and provide practical assistance with dignity, kindness, and respect.

Serving Atlanta With Compassion for More Than 26 Years
Every person deserves to be treated with dignity.
At People In Need Atlanta, we provide food, clothing, hygiene supplies, showers, mail services, and other essential assistance to individuals who are unhoused or experiencing hardship.
Our goal is simple: meet people where they are, help address their immediate needs, and remind every person we serve that they matter.
Every Friday, We Provide:
Hot Lunch
Guests receive a freshly prepared hot meal along with two additional take-away lunches.
Non-Perishable Food Bags
Food bags containing shelf-stable items are provided to help individuals through the days ahead.
Bottled Water
Water is distributed along with meals and other essential supplies.
Mobile Shower Services
Our shower truck provides individuals experiencing homelessness with access to a safe, refreshing shower and an opportunity to restore a sense of dignity.
New Socks & Underwear
We distribute new socks and underwear—some of the most frequently needed items among individuals experiencing homelessness.
Gently Used Clothing
Men’s and women’s clothing is provided based on availability and individual need.
Hygiene Kits
Personal care kits include essential hygiene products to help individuals maintain health, cleanliness, and dignity.

People In Need Atlanta understands that homelessness and hardship create challenges that extend far beyond hunger.
That is why our services go beyond providing food.
Mail Services
For individuals who do not have a permanent residence, receiving important mail can be extremely difficult.
PIN-ATL provides a mailing address where individuals experiencing homelessness can safely receive their mail.
Having a dependable mailing address can help people receive important correspondence related to employment, identification, benefits, healthcare, housing opportunities, and other essential services.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Taking Help Into the Community
Not everyone who needs assistance has transportation or is physically able to attend our Friday lunch program.
People In Need Atlanta believes that lack of transportation should not prevent someone from receiving help.
Our outreach team delivers food and essential supplies directly into the community to individuals who cannot come to us.
Through this outreach, PIN-ATL is able to serve people where they are and maintain relationships with individuals who may otherwise have difficulty accessing community resources.

People In Need Atlanta is proud to continue more than 26 years of compassionate service to the Atlanta community.
PIN-ATL absorbed Crossroads Community Center, preserving and expanding the work that had already touched thousands of lives through meals, clothing, essential supplies, and personal care.
Today, People In Need Atlanta continues that mission while developing new programs and expanding community outreach.
Under the leadership of Greg Griffith and Adele McAuley, PIN-ATL is building upon this longstanding foundation of service while creating additional opportunities to reach individuals and families who need assistance.
